Maybe the biggest scandal of our times. The fact that in the country that claims to be the most developed in the world, 47 million people are not covered for their medical expenses is hard to believe, but it is true. And it is even worse, because many more people are not well covered, and many people have gone bankrupt due to poor coverage of illnesses. There are many reasons to it, one of them having to do with the fact that the cost of healthcare is very high. On another level, it is also recognized that there are many bottlenecks in the way information is flowing, which give many opportunities for improvements.

Improvements may hopefully translate in lowering costs and consequently providing access, at no extra cost, to many people who currently can not access healthcare. Come on, this is worth the effort. Everybody wins here: no extra money spent, and many beneficiaries. Hopefully this would be the starting point for a situation where everybody will eventually be insured.
